Mathematics with PocketCAS Pro App Reviews

This is a great tool for scientist and engineers.

Going beyond iOS and creating a Mac version is the thing that takes this app to the "great" level. Its one of those "Why didnt someone do this before?" things! And, instead of just duplicating the iOS version, they went "above and beyond" and added support for things like the new Toolbar (on the new MacBook Pro laptops). All of the above tells me that the apps are indeed from good (and most importantly) ACTIVE developers. Oh, and just to say it if you couldnt tell by now, I think the iOS app by itself is great! And, in this retired developers humble (but also correct ;-) view, if you do happen to hit the "All Versions" button on the review page, please ignore the VERY old reviews. Theyre almost 5 years old, and have almost no relevance to the current app. People are VERY quick to "vent" about any problem, but rarely go back to update their reviews when the problem is fixed! Id like to meet these "perfect" people, who never make mistakes, and are so VERY quick to "throw the first stone"! By leaving these VERY old reviews, people can get a VERY wrong impression of the current app (and also of the developers). Ill just say, especially for this VERY great app, please read the CURRENT reviews. In other words: "You WILL NOT be disappointed!". Thank you VERY much to my fellow developers (which is my only "connection"). They really do seem to care about their work and giving us QUALITY products!

it has a very complete set of tools for most general calculations, good graphics generator and intuitive way of writing the expressions.

I love this calculator! Really helped me out in college. One small issue: I changed the iPhone language to German once, and the app automatically changed its language to German too. But, when I changed the phone language back into Portuguese, the app continued in German. I cannot find the option to go back to Portuguese, and its German since than. Plus, I miss some complex numbers functions options.

bad applicative and not consistent with description. It does not serve for anything. It is the same thing in play money in the trash

Excelent Look for something like this for a long time

...to have so much very cool mathematical power in your hands to be used at any time. Graphics and organization are wonderful. It works on iPhone and iPad but iPad easier to use of course due to its size. This is not so good for beginners or children, but everyone else should have a copy of this program. Highly recommended.

There is nothing comparable to this app. Powerful and *easy* to use.

Not only I love it i am using it day by day

I like pocketCAS, it is pretty good. TI-84 is certainly easier to use but this app has a lot of power at a much cheaper price, and the bigger, colour screen is nice in comparison.

Mathematicians rejoice: finally a maple/mathematica like app, and this is one is very reasonably priced and it does NOT require the internet. Keep up the great work and keep updates coming!

Pretty nice app Love this app

The high level of functionality offered in an iPot combined with an well designed user interface makes this application a pleasure to use. To my knowledge the only iPot application offering symbolic mathematics with a high level of graphical representations. It is more fun to use than any graphical CAS calculator on the marked.

Ive just started using this program and I much prefer the interface on the iPad to my Windows Xcas implementation. The email support is particularly impressive - within a day! I am looking forward to using it more in the coming months. Nice work, Daniel!
