This app is not easy to use and is not worth 14.99. It is not even worth .99.

I use this app on a regular basis for homework and presentations because I can export an image of my calculations and graphs to a picture or PDF. Very versatile and easy to use. Ive had it for 2 years and the developer has done a good job of supporting the app. Well worth the money!

Fantastic feature set! And the means for entering equations is excellent. I agree with others that it needs an instant calculation option. Suggest that there is such a setting where the result of the calculation is shown iteratively while writing a script. At each press of Return, show the result. With this option disabled the app would behave as it currently does. This should be simple to implement and would make the app complete. Would also like the ABC keyboard to hide and return to the calc keyboard when pressing Return.

Spent a bit of time playing with this on my iPhone and my feelings are as follows -- 1. The app is really powerful and can handle all sorts of stuff including scripting and complex formulas. You also have to read the manual carefully a because its completely unintuitive. 2. Its a bit too much for the iPhone. This type of setup would be great on the desktop but the app is not really designed for mobile. Its almost too powerful and too complex for iOS devices. 3. There is no way to quickly adjust the parameters of an expression. It would be really nice if there was a slider where you could quickly adjust the values of certain parameters. 4. The keyboard needs work. Having to switch between the system keyboard and app keyboard is kind of annoying. 5. Support seems good so far. Daniel has been helpful in answering my questions.

Best graphing app. The answer is given in decimal form & it gives you the exact fraction (including the square root) I would give 5 stars if the manual was better.

Interface is great, powerful, easy to learn. Tool is extremely powerful. Cant believe I can have better than my best graphing calculator of old as an app on my phone!

As a senior, who once studied mathematics and worked all his life in research, I can just say "great app". I wished I had it in my youth! But even now Im enjoying experimenting with the app.

This is a great iPhone calculator. It doesnt do everything that my Ti84 does (some people may think so, however most people have no idea what their Ti84 is capable of) but for most uses this app is more than adequate.

Cool, this app helps me to learn a lot. Keeps me going. Love it a lot!

One thing I really like about this app is how it allows you to create documents (consisting of calculation steps, plot steps, or script steps) which can be saved, imported, or exported. In any step in a document the variable Ans always contains the result of the last calculation so, for example, you can have pocketcas differentiate a function in x in a calculation step, and follow with a plot step that plots Ans, to see the graph of the derivative. Also any step can be duplicated, which saves a lot of typing when you want to do similar things. On graphs of functions, you can easily zoom in and out, display x and y coordinates while moving along a curve, and see a table of coordinate points that belong to the curve. It works very well with complex numbers and symbolic calculations. It is easiest to use on an iPad, but Ive had no problem using it on my iPhone.

This app is perfect for scientific calculation and even the day to day household calculations. The ability to track each value in the calculation is a plus.

Ive searched and been a user of quite a few apps for equations and this one is the best Ive found. I use both the iPad and Mac OS version for linear algebra and calculus.
