Mathematics with PocketCAS Pro App Reviews

This app has been very helpful with integration in Multivariable calculus. I wish it could graph vector fields (it may and I just havent figured it out yet) like I said very powerful app.

This is ridiculous, It doesnt offer all aspects of integration as Im trying to learn how to use approximate integration with no help from this. Ugh.

Drawing those graphs is going to come in handy. This is by far the best math based application I have yet to find :) Great work! :)

Once learned, this app becomes the "go-to" app for various mathematical calculations. It is extremely capable of handling most mathematical tasks, and allows for scripting to extend its already robust computational power. I would highly recommend this app to anyone looking for something beyond the basic calculator apps.

Best CAS app that Ive found by far, and although I use it almost every day, Ive barely touched half of the amazing features its got.

If you are in advanced high school or college level math, this app is for you!

This is a powerful mathematics tool that is always on hand.

In a nutshell, Im very happy with this app. I was surprised at how much functionality it has when I first started using it. The programming language took a little effort to understand (I dont find it as intuitive as Fortran, for example) but there are many good examples and tutorials included as well as a users manual. So far, I have been able figure out how to do everything I need from the information provided. I was very happy to see Multitasking is now available (I have been waiting for that!). This will really come in handy for me. Im also excited to see the capability to ready in CSV data files!

Couldnt afford a Ti-84, this app was beyond capable. Helped me during high school.

The app is nice but data entry is inefficient. it would be nice if the app suggested functions to autocomplete once you started typing.

Very intuitive interface that is a cross between a Matlab style entry with the option to do simple calculations like a normal calculator. Instead of hitting return to complete a single calculation, you hit calculate. Other reviewers dont seem to understand how to do simple calculations like you would on a calculator and so I felt compelled to write a review to correct their misunderstanding of a great app. By far the biggest bang for your buck of any CAS app here!

If only I could give PocketCas more than 5 stars! It is amazingly powerful and yet extremely user-friendly. It is one of the very best apps I have on my I-pad and I heartily recommend it!

The user interface is very bad. You cannot use it as a normal CAS calculator where you enter the expression you want to evaluate and it gives the answer. You have to use "New Entry" mode which is like writing a script. I have MATLAB, I did not need another one. I just wanted a CAS calculator that simplifies things. In other words, when I select new entry>Calculation, and enter in the expression and press return I would like to see the result (i.e. Like in any calculator). Once this thing is fixed my rating will be as well.

Get this app it is so worth it. Best calculator I have ever had! Amazing.
